Bioinformatics Training Opportunity at the NRBSC

We are currently seeking to sponsor students through a NLM Fellowship who have obtained or will obtain in the next 9 months a Masters or PhD degree in one of the following areas: information science, computer science or computational biology. The Students will work with the Structural Bioinformatics group in implementing and deploying web-based tools for protein structure and function prediction and/or modeling of enzyme catalysis. Expertise in computational biology is not a requirement if the student already possesses good programming skills. Research training at the NRBSC presents opportunities to interact with leading scientists in this field located both within and outside of PSC. Interested candidates should contact Dr. Troy Wymore () to learn more.
