Volumetric Data & Visualization Gateway
The Volume Browser created at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center enables users to view large three-dimensional images (datasets) over the internet. Users can interact with with the image to view from any angle, slice through it to see inside, and trace and label sections of the image. The PSC Volume Browser is a breakthrough in 3D imaging because it allows viewing uncompressed datasets from a desktop computer that wouldn't have the capability view such data on its own...
This gateway is being developed. Please see the current Volume Browser website for more information, or return to the National Resource for Biomedical Supercomputing site.
